Pool balls are miscellaneous items in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
Several different types of pool balls can be found in various areas throughout the Capital Wasteland and Mojave Wasteland. In Fallout 3, pool balls can be used as Rock-It Launcher ammunition, however with the removal of the Rock-It Launcher in Fallout: New Vegas they no longer serve any use. They are usually found alongside pool cues and triangles.
List of the various different pool balls that appear in-game:
- 2-ball
- 5-ball
- 8-ball
- 10-ball
- 13-ball
- Cue ball
Locations
Fallout 3
Though not often found as random junk, they are frequently seen near or on pool tables. Some locations include The Muddy Rudder, Rivet City market, slaver barracks, and Old Olney. The lucky 8-ball can be obtained from Timebomb in Big Town.
Fallout: New Vegas
Most can be found on pool tables in Vault 3's recreation area, Vault 21, Gomorrah's Zoara Club and Nellis hangars' mess hall & munitions storage.
