The plasma mine is a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
A powerful energy-based manually placed mine that, when it senses an enemy movement in a small radius, releases a large and deadly burst of plasma.
Locations[]
- Armed
- Stone Bones cave: Two. One's in a pot at a three-way cave intersection after the first big room from the entrance. The other is on a slope leading down into the flooded room.
- Cueva Guarache: There's a room which was inhabited by Randall Clark, and it has a path with a gate leading to a ledge overlooking the biggest cave room. The path has a boulder you need to jump over and the mine is nestled in the boulder.
- Two Skies cave: Again, there's a room which was used by Randall Clark. It has a path leading to a flooded area, with the floor covered by branches. The mines are hidden under the branches.
- Big MT west tunnel: One found near two duffle bags located south of the tunnel entrance.
- Hopeville Missile Base - Loading station. Four armed plasma mines can be found at the
- Unarmed
- Sometimes found in mine boxes.
- Multiple plasma mines can be found on the counter at the Van Graffs' Silver Rush in Freeside. They must be stolen, as they are not part of Gloria Van Graff's inventory.
- One can be found in Remnants bunker, inside an Enclave crate.
- One can be found in the Followers safehouse.
- One is normally carried by Legionary assassins.
- Sometimes sold by Knight Torres in the Brotherhood of Steel bunker.
