The plasma core is a type of ammunition in Fallout 76.

The plasma core works similarly to the fusion core, as both power heavy energy weapons with the former being used as an ammunition source for the Gatling plasma.

Plasma cores can be crafted and will also randomly drop off of slain enemies.
Notes[]
Prior to patch 1.7.16.13, plasma cores used the same model as the fusion core when inspected in the Pip-Boy.
Bugs[]
Before patch 1.7.4.6, plasma cores could be crafted with charges above 100%.[patched]
