In "The Radio"
The pipe rifle is a weapon in the Fallout TV series.
Characteristics[]
Compared to the pipe weapons used by the inhabitants of the Commonwealth and Appalachia, the weapon in the TV series appears to have a higher ratio of metal components to wooden, including a rusted metal grip with a great deal of tape woven around the connecting point between the grip and the metallic receiver to hold them together, along with a tattered shoulder strap.
In the TV series[]
The Radio[]
At some point after leaving Filly,[1] the snake oil salesman acquired a pipe rifle to use to commit suicide. However, he was met with the difficulty of aiming it at his head while trying to use his toes to pull the trigger. Before he could complete the act, he saw the wounded Brotherhood soldier Thaddeus walking past him with his mangled foot after Maximus injured it by stepping on him with his T-60 power armor. His hope renewed, the salesman initially chased after Thaddeus with the rifle in hand only to discard it in the dirt when Thaddeus reacted to him with hostility and subsequently being left there once he got the soldier to agree to follow him to his clinic.[2]
