Pioneer posers are hostile individuals protecting Scout Leader Karen, found in the Burning Springs region of Appalachia in Fallout 76, introduced in the Burning Springs update.
Background[]
The Pioneer posers are people willing to protect Scout Leader Karen to the death. It is unclear if the term "posers" is meant to cast doubt on their true origins and/or affiliation with the Pioneer Scouts.
Characteristics[]
The Pioneer posers wield a poison-infused crossbow with the Anti-Armor and Rapid legendary weapon effects, while also inflicting bleed damage. When hit in combat, they go into a stealth field for 10 seconds. They also possess the Swift-Footed mutation from Daily Ops, increasing their movement speed. Scout Leader Karen herself also has these exact same effects and loadout.
