Pinky Thompson was a member of the Railroad, serving as its leader from 2273 to 2277 and a mentioned-only character in Fallout 4.
Background[]
Little is known about Pinky Thompson's past prior to beginning their leadership of the Railroad in 2273, shortly after a devastating raid on their headquarters by Institute coursers, which killed their previous leader at the time, Wyatt. Pinky credited Deacon for planning the escape route that saved the lives of the group's survivors.
Moving forward, Pinky stressed the importance of never underestimating the Institute and created a new initiative to move escaped synths, or "packages," out of the Commonwealth as quickly as possible. Despite new plans to circumvent the reclamation efforts of the Institute, Pinky still had to contend with other dangers of the Commonwealth, such as raiders, and several escaped synths lost their lives.
As the group's failures mounted, Pinky struggled to work with other Railroad members, often butting heads with Desdemona, Dr. Carrington, and Deacon. After the loss of another safehouse and subsequent criticism from Desdemona, Pinky stepped down as the Railroad's leader, resulting in Desdemona assuming the role.[1] Their actions afterward and whether they left the Railroad or died are unknown as no one with their name is found in the Railroad HQ by October 2287.
Appearances[]
Pinky Thompson is mentioned only in Fallout 4.
