Pinky Thompson began their leadership of the Railroad shortly after a devastating raid on their headquarters by Institute coursers. The current leader, Wyatt, was killed but Pinky gives credit to Deacon for planning the escape route that saved the lives of the group's survivors.
Moving forward, Pinky stressed the importance of never underestimating the Institute and created a new initiative to move escaped synths, or "packages," out of the Commonwealth, and as quickly as possible. Despite new plans to circumvent the reclamation efforts of the Institute, Pinky still had to contend with general Commonwealth dangers, such as raiders, and several escaped synths lost their lives.
As failures mounted, Pinky struggled to work with the other Railroad members, butting heads with Desdemona, Dr. Carrington, and Deacon. After the loss of a safehouse and subsequent criticisms from Desdemona, Pinky stepped down as the Railroad's leader, resulting in Desdemona assuming the role.
Pinky Thompson is mentioned only in Fallout 4.
