Parker was the father of Kelley.
Background[]
Parker and Kelley walked around Appalachia looking for shelter after an unspecified event, likely the Great War, finding it in the form of the lost home. Kelley was suffering from radiation sickness when they found the shantytown, so Parker went out to find supplies for her. He eventually came across an abandoned military outpost with various medical supplies and looted it. Upon returning, he found that Kelley had been mauled to death by wild dogs, something he felt deep regret for and put the blame on his own shoulders.[1]
