Oscar Hammerstein II was a prolific American songwriter and producer of musical theater.
In 1951, he wrote the lyrics to "A Kiss to Build a Dream On", sung by Louis Armstrong, which served as the intro music for Fallout 2.
Together with his frequent collaborator, composer Richard Rodgers, he wrote the 1949 musical South Pacific, which included the songs "A Wonderful Guy", featured in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, and "Some Enchanted Evening", featured in the Fallout TV series.
