Behind the scenes[]
Overall, the Burning Springs region is a segment of the real-world area known as Appalachian Ohio. According to producer Bill LaCoste, the real-world range of Burning Springs could be compared to "south of Point Pleasant/Gallipolis, west to about Dexter [City] maybe, and up north to Athens. So just a really small SE portion of it."[Non-game 1]
