This page lists all perks previously available in the now-defunct Fallout 76 game mode Nuclear Winter. Unlike the base game, all perks used to come in a single, top level grade.


The numbers in the SPECIAL Req. column are the number of SPECIAL points that were required to equip the perk.



Perk Req Effects
Barbarian Unused 1 Every point of Strength adds +4 Damage Resist (max 60). (No Power Armor)
Bear Arms Unused 1 Heavy Guns weigh 90% less.
Blocker 1 Take 45% less damage from your opponents' melee attacks.
Bullet Shield 3 Gain 60 Damage Resistance while firing a heavy gun.
Clubber 1 Lifelong combat training means melee weapons do significantly more damage.
Incisor 3 Your melee weapons ignore 60% of your target's armor.
Iron Fist Unused 1 Your punching attacks now do +100% damage.
Load and Load 1 Heavy guns reload 30% faster.
Martial Artist 1 Your melee weapons weigh 60% less, and you can swing them 30% faster.
Master Gladiator Unused 1 Your one-handed melee weapons now do +60% damage.
Master Heavy Gunner 3 Your non-explosive heavy guns now deal significantly more damage.
Master Shotgunner 3 Your shotguns now deal significantly more damage.
Master Slugger Unused 1 Your two-handed melee weapons now do +100% damage.
Ordnance Express Unused 1 Explosives weigh 95% less.
Scattershot Unused 1 Shotguns now weigh 90% less and you reload them 30% faster.
Strong Back 1 Gain +25 to carry weight.
Sturdy Frame Unused 1 Armor weighs 50% less than normal.
Traveling Pharmacy Unused 1 Weights of all Chems and Stimpaks (excluding Serums) are reduced by 90%.
Walking Arsenal 9 All weapons weigh 75% less.

Briefcase Detector 9 Nearby Nuke Briefcases appear on the compass.
Crack Shot 1 All pistols have 30% more range and more accuracy when aiming down sights.
Fashion Finder 6 Nearby Power Armor appears on the compass.
Fire in the Hole Unused 1 See a throwing arc when tossing thrown weapons, and they fly 50% further.
Grenadier 3 Your explosives detonate with twice the radius.
Ground Pounder 3 Automatic rifles reload 30% faster and have excellent hip fire accuracy.
Hack Detector 6 Nearby active terminals appear on the compass.
Long Shot 1 Your rifles have 30% more range and more accuracy when aiming down sights.
Master Commando 3 Lifelong combat training means automatic rifle damage is significantly increased.
Master Rifleman 3 Your non-automatic rifles now deal significantly more damage.
Picklock 1 You can pick all locked containers in Nuclear Winter.
Refractor 1 You now gain +80 Energy Resistance.
Skeet Shooter 1 Your shotguns have excellent accuracy and spread.
Sniper 1 Gain improved control and hold your breath 75% longer while aiming scopes.
Tank Killer 6 Your rifles ignore 40% armor.


Aquagirl/Aquaboy 3 You no longer take Rad damage from swimming and can breathe underwater.
Chem Fiend 1 Any chems you take last 100% longer.
Cola Nut Unused 1 Nuka-Cola products are now three times as beneficial.
Ghoulish 9 Radiation now regenerates your lost Health.
Homebody Unused 6 Gain gradual health regeneration while in your camp.
Ironclad 3 Gain 50 Damage and Energy Resistance while not wearing Power Armor.
Life Giver 1 Gain a total of +45 to your maximum Health.
Rad Resistant 1 You now have +650 Radiation Resistance
Radicool Unused 1 The greater your Rads, the greater your Strength (max +5 STR)!


Bodyguards 3 Gain 12 Damage & Energy Resist (max 36) for each teammate, excluding you.
Creature Crusher 1 Deal 100% more damage to creatures during Nuclear Winter.
E.M.T. 1 Players you revive come back with high health regen for 60 seconds.
Field Surgeon 6 Stimpaks and RadAway will now work much more quickly.
Healing Hands 1 Players you revive are cured of all Rads.
Magnetic Personality Unused 1 Gain 2 Charisma for each teammate, excluding yourself.
Monster Muffler 1 Resist 50% of damage from creatures during Nuclear Winter.
Overly Generous 3 Rads increase your chance to inflict 200 Rads with melee attacks!
Rad Sponge 1 When affected by rads, you periodically heal 50 rads on nearby teammates.
Spiritual Healer 3 You regenerate health for 10 seconds after reviving another player.
Squad Maneuvers Unused 6 Run 20% faster when part of a team.
Strange in Numbers 3 Positive mutation effects are +25% stronger if teammates are mutated too.
Suppressor 9 Reduce your target's damage output by 30% for 2 seconds after you attack.
Team Medic 6 Your stimpaks now also heal nearby teammates.
Tenderizer 9 Targets take 20% more weapon damage for 10 seconds after an armed attack.


Demolition Expert 3 Your explosives do significantly more damage.
First Aid 6 Stimpaks restore 45% more lost Health.
Hacker 1 You can hack all active terminals in Nuclear Winter.
Nerd Rage! 3 Gain 100 Damage Resist, 20% damage and 15% AP regen while below 20% Health.
Pharmacist 1 RadAway removes twice as much radiation.
Stabilized 9 In Power Armor, heavy guns gain excellent accuracy and ignore 45% armor.
Wrecking Ball 1 You deal 20% extra damage to workshop objects.


Action Girl/Action Boy 1 Action Points regenerate 60% faster.
Adrenaline 3 Gain +10% (max 60%) damage for 30s per kill. Duration refreshes with kills.
Cowboy 3 All of your pistols now deal significantly more damage.
Dead Man Sprinting 1 Sprint 20% faster at increased AP cost when your health is below 50%.
Dodgy 6 Avoid 30% of incoming damage at the cost of 30 Action Points per hit.
Evasive Unused 1 Each AGI point adds +3 Damage and Energy Resist (max 45). (No Power Armor)
Frog Legs 9 Jump significantly higher.
Goat Legs 9 Take no damage from falling.
Gun Runner 6 Your In-game spelling, punctuation and/or grammar run 20% faster when you have a pistol or shotgun equipped.
Marathoner 1 Sprinting consumes 40% fewer Action Points.
Master Guerrilla Unused 1 Your automatic pistols now do +30% damage.
Master Gunslinger Unused 1 Your non-automatic pistols now do +40% damage.
Modern Renegade 1 Gain excellent Pistol hip fire accuracy.
Moving Target 3 Gain +45 Damage and Energy Resistance while sprinting. (No Power Armor)
Packin' Light Unused 1 Your pistols weigh 75% less.
Run for Your Knife 6 Your movement speed increases by 20% when you have a melee weapon equipped.
Thru-hiker Unused 1 Food and drink weights are reduced by 90%.
White Knight 6 Your armor breaks 90% slower.

Bloody Mess 9 15% bonus damage means enemies may explode into a gory red paste.
Class Freak 1 The negative effects of your mutations are reduced by 75%.
Last Laugh 1 You drop a live grenade from your inventory when you are downed.
Lucky Break 6 Chance your equipped armor will greatly repair itself when struck.
One Gun Army Unused 1 Heavy guns gain a 12% stagger chance and a 12% chance to cripple a limb.
Pharma Farma 1 80% chance to find Chems when you *Search* a Nuclear Winter container.
Quick Hands 1 Gain a 25% chance to instantly reload when your clip is empty.
Scrounger 1 80% chance to find extra ammo when you *Search* a Nuclear Winter container.
