Location
The note could be found at Lewis & Sons Farming Supply, pinned to a wall with a bowie knife near the boarded up door of the barn. It was removed with the Steel Dawn update.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This property is no longer abandoned. My family are the rightful inheritors, and will be returning shortly to take up permanent residence.
Kindly refrain from wrecking the place any more than it already is. We've taken the precaution of locking up the barn, but if you're trashing the joint when we get back you'll answer to me. And George's shotgun.
We've got enough cleaning to do as is.
