Nomads are traveling bands of human settlers. They never tarry for long in any one location but follow the seasons of the wasteland and move to where food, shelter and water can be found.

- The Arroyo encounter has a 5% frequency, and will consist of 3-5 nomads. The different nomads are as follows: Male nomad with antidote, meat jerky, and spear (50%), female nomad with healing powder and knife (50%), male orphan (10%), and female orphan (5%).
- Shaman nomads can heal the Chosen One.[1]
