The Nipton train station, referred to in-game as simply a train station, is an unmarked location in the Mojave Wasteland that was cut from Fallout: New Vegas.

Layout[]

There are two entrances to the station's interior, one of which is located behind the ticket purchasing area, and the other at the front of the building in the waiting area. There are various miscellaneous items, such as fission batteries on shelves, and containers to loot, but not much else of note in the area.

Notes[]

  • The Nipton train station is not present in the final version of the game, and in fact, all known references to it were apparently removed by the time of the game's retail release. The interior cell (editor ID NiptonTrainStationInterior) was seemingly deleted, as it does not even remain in the game's files as unimplemented content. The train station is, however, present in the July 2010 beta build of the game, in which it had not yet been cut from the game. The beta build, released in November 2025, revealed the existence of the Nipton train station for the first time.
  • In the beta build, the Nipton train station was placed on the wrong side of the railroad tracks, across from the town of Nipton itself in such a way that one would need to cross the tracks to access the station.

Appearances[]

The Nipton train station appears only in Fallout: New Vegas cut content.
