Sergeant Ning, known as a Hellcat mercenary corpse in-game, was a non-commissioned officer in the Hellcat Company.
Background[]
Ning was a mercenary fighting in the Pitt under contract from the Fanatics. After the contact ran its course and the Fanatics controlled the Pitt, Ning decided to move on from the city and seek out a new challenge. He had no intention of seeing what "peace time" would look under Fanatics and neither did he want to follow Kit into Appalachia, a region he considered unbombed and thus unchallenging.[1] However, before he could find a new community to become a killer or defender for, his life was claimed by the Pitt. His corpse can be found next to his journal in a booby-trapped store in the Industrial district.
