Designed by the H&H Tools Company as a construction tool before the Great War, the nail gun has since been repurposed by wastelanders around the Boston area as an automatic, nearly-silent firearm. Its inherently 'suppressed' nature thus makes it ideal for those who lack access to proper suppressed guns, as it requires no perk investments like a firearm suppressor does.
The primary difference from nail guns found in The Divide is the action and feed system. A large slide on the top of the weapon moves back and forth when firing (and is also worked when drawing the gun). Nails are fed via a magazine loaded in through the grip rather than an independent magwell. Magazines consist of either a standard pistol-style magazine, or a 'snail-drum' magazine.
