The NH&M Freight Depot is a location in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4.
Background[]
Formerly owned by the NH&M Company prior to the Great War, sometime after 2282 and becoming the mayor of Goodneighbor, John Hancock took control of the depot to serve as his storeroom far apart from his territory to ward off potential thieves.
However, this did not stop Bobbi No-Nose who eventually uncovered the location of the depot and its contents and by 2287, began looking for a crew to break into it as part of a revenge scheme against Hancock.
Layout[]
Before completing The Big Dig, the door to enter the freight depot is locked and remains inaccessible.
During that quest, a short set of stairs leads up from the Dig into the single large room, with upper catwalks overlooking two train cars, one of which is key-locked. The floor is soaked with oil, which may be ignited if a firefight ensues at the end of the quest. There is also a power armor station on the lower level.
Notable loot[]
- Ashmaker - Carried by Fahrenheit. Can be given (if betraying Bobbi) or taken from her body (if siding with Bobbi).
- Two hazmat suits - Carried by the two unnamed guards with Fahrenheit. Can only be acquired by siding with Bobbi and killing them.
- Hancock's strongroom key - Carried by Fahrenheit. Can only be acquired if siding with Bobbi and killing her. Unlocks the locked train car.
- Two fusion cores, two Stealth Boys, a Vault-Tec lunchbox, a Nuka-Cherry, and several loot containers - In the locked train car.
Appearances[]
