N. Volkmer was the chief maintenance technician of Vault 76. Prior to the Great War, they were the Dean of Physics at Vault-Tec University. They held a Doctorate of Applied Mathematics and Nuclear Engineering from the Commonwealth Institute of Technology. They were awarded the Nobel Prize for physics in 2051.[1]
