The Nuka-World Informational Robot Assistant, or N.I.R.A., is a modified protectron operating as a tour guide in Nuka-World in 2287.
Background
N.I.R.A. was originally a greeter and information bot at Nuka-World. She was one of the newest additions to the park and was only introduced shortly before the Great War. Sometime during the raiders' takeover of Nuka-World, N.I.R.A. was hacked and given a more abusive subroutine which kicks in at random times. N.I.R.A. recorded this event and says she left the recording with park security. The holotape she "turned in" can be found near the bed in Fizztop Grille. According to the Cola-cars employee terminal, employees were to direct queries and inquests to N.I.R.A instead of answering themselves.

Quests
- Precious Medals - Collect each of the 7 Park medallions from Nuka-World attractions.
Other interactions
- Speaking with N.I.R.A. allows the player to get information on both the park's layout and pre-war history. Asking her about park medallions will start the quest Precious Medals.
- Killing her and looting the Nira torso is the only way to unlock crafting of that mod for Automatron robot companions.
