Myrna is a Diamond City vendor. She and her robot assistant Percy run the Diamond City Surplus trade shack. She is available to trade with during the day and Percy takes over at night. She sells weapons, apparel, aid, miscellaneous, junk and ammo. She sells shipments of steel, adhesive, springs, fertilizer, ceramic, and plastic.

Background

Myrna is a trader situated in Diamond City. She suffers from a lot of Synth paranoia and initially asks the player if they are a synth or human. After the player confirms they are human, trading can be accessed. If the player tells Myrna they are a synth, she will not sell to them unless they convince her they are human. Myrna will often suggest that the player is a synth throughout her dialogues.

Percy was hired to work with her because she does not feel safe to trade at night due to the synth propaganda. They effectively have two shops with separate caps piles, making it easy to wait for either to come back out.

Notes

  • Breaking into her home and subsequently unlocking her computer shows a list of people in town she suspects are synths, which accounts for most named NPCs living in Diamond City. She thinks Piper is writing articles to deflect people from the fact that she herself is a Synth, and Myrna also notes Moe Cronin could be a Synth because "only Synths like baseball".
  • She also made plans to create an anti-Synth movement in town, but it is unsure how much her campaign actually caught on, if she shared the plans with anyone at all.
  • Under a computer note titled "Percy's Maintenance Schedule" she asks why the Pre-War industries couldn't have just stopped at making robots who at least think they are machines, instead of moving on and making synths who think they are human.
  • There is not a way to change her demeanor towards you, especially if you have a robot or Synth companion, but if the Sole Survivor shops there enough while alone, she seems to use less harsh dialogue towards the player.
