Mutfruit is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas. It is an ingredient for the super stimpak and Cass's moonshine. The name mutfruit is a portmanteau of "mutated" and "fruit."
Characteristics
Mutfruit provides both hydration and sustenance, and provides them at moderately higher levels than other fruits such as fresh apples or fresh pears. This makes it one of the more nutritious fruits, although due to the fact it's mutated, it gives a small amount of Radiation.

- Note: Radiation is not affected by Survival skill level.

- Mutfruit appears in the item tables for most merchants, so any merchant that is capable of selling food items can, at any point, have an unspecified number of mutfruit in their shop inventory. There is a higher chance of finding them when shopping with traders who deal specifically in food items.
- There are 2 in the supply room of the restaurant of The Tops, and there are 2 more in The Tops presidential suite.
- 3 can be found in the kitchen in the resort of Camp Golf.
- 3 can be found in the kitchen of the Great Khan longhouse in Red Rock Canyon.
- 3 can be found in the supply room behind the front counter of the Atomic Wrangler casino.
- 3 can be found in one of the broken coolers in the Goodsprings general store.
- 1 can be found in a truck between Jean Sky Diving and Sloan being guarded by a couple of coyotes.
- Like most food items, they can usually be found in fridges.
