This weapon is a heavily modified buzz saw from a Mister Handy robot. The weapon consists of a circular saw blade with a guard, a long metal shaft, and an engine at the bottom.
Found on a cabinet top inside the fuel storage room inside the Monongah Power Plant.

Due to its high attack rate, the Mr. Handy buzz blade has excellent synergy with the Vampire's legendary effect.
This weapon also does a surprising amount of damage with the Bloodied legendary effect if the user has an extremely high Strength stat, and it is useful for Daily Ops when the enemies have the resilient mutation.
With the Expeditions: The Pitt update, all "rotating" melee weapons received massive damage buffs, giving the buzz blade a very high DPS, making it extremely powerful with the proper build synergies. Whether or not this buff was intentional remains unknown.

It will not activate the Hack and Slash legendary perk. This is almost certainly intentional, however, because Hack and Slash would be extremely overpowered on this weapon due to its speed.[verified]
