For an overview of motorcycle helmets in the Fallout series of games, see motorcycle helmet. |
The motorcycle helmet is a piece of headwear, good for minor protection against incoming blows and sometimes even bullets.
Characteristics
The motorcycle helmet is cheap, weighs only 1 lbs and offers a Damage Resistance of 5. Its downside is a low durability, resulting in rapid degeneration and frequent repairs. Companions are not subject to this problem, however, and given its DR/weight ratio it is one of the best pieces of headgear they can equip.
Locations
Prominent wearers of this item are Michael Masters and Seagrave Holmes.
Notes
The motorcycle helmet does not allow you to wear eyewear.
Behind the scenes
The design on the helmets are based off the motorcycle helmets featured in the film Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
