Moona Lisa, known in-game simply as pack brahmin, is a brahmin owned by the Blue Ridge Caravan Company in Appalachia.
Background[]
Moona Lisa is the pack animal used by the traveling merchant Luca Costa.[1] After tracking an Ogua in the region that they wanted to sacrifice to the Mothman, the Cult of the Mothman settled in the Cranberry Glade, which was then renamed the Sacramental Glade.[2] One of the cult members, Elder Adelaide, posed as a trader to ambush Luca Costa and steal his supplies. Though Luca escaped, Moona Lisa was captured.[3]

Moona Lisa appears only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Once in a Blue Moon update.
Behind the scenes[]
- Moona Lisa's name is a pun, combining the "moo" sound of a Brahmin with the Mona Lisa, a world-famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci.
- Moona Lisa was originally named "Moolissa." Lead designer Carl McKevitt changed the name to Moona Lisa, joking that he both "regret[ted] nothing" and "still [felt] guilty" about it.[Non-game 1]
