Event: Mischief Night is an upcoming seasonal public event in Fallout 76. It is a reworked version of Mischief Night (2019), which was first introduced with the Nuclear Winter update. After being absent for several years, the event was rebuilt and moved to Rapidan Camp. It is also known as "Mischief Night 2" based on the editor ID prefix "MN2" in the game's files.
The new Mischief Night is not yet available in the live game. It was previously present in the Public Test Server for the Milepost Zero update, but was disabled due to reports of crashing. With the August 9, 2024, update to the Public Test Server, it was confirmed in the patch notes that Mischief Night would not be releasing with Milepost Zero, and would be delayed to another future release.
In December 2024, a letter to players was released, which confirmed that Mischief Night would be returning "later" in 2025.[1]
