Med-X is a consumable item in Fallout 76.
Characteristics[]
Med-X is a potent painkiller that was manufactured by Med-Tek before the war.
It increases the player character's Damage Resistance by 25% for five minutes.
Consuming Med-X has a 25% chance of triggering an addiction. While addicted, the player character suffers a penalty of -1 to Agility and -10 Damage Resistance.

- Can be purchased from a medical supplies vending machine.
- Can be collected by the Raider Collectron.
- Has a chance to spawn in first aid boxes, mirrors and chem boxes with the Pharma Farma perk.
- Sometimes sold by Doc Stanley inside the Whitespring Resort.
- Sometimes sold by the scavenger trader random encounter.

- Four can be found inside Big Al's Tattoo Parlor.
- Three can be found inside the Whitespring Resort.

Notes[]
- Despite its description, Med-X adds a fixed 25 DR, not a percentage increase. Players may get a better survivability boost from one of the Buffout variants, like Psychobuff, which adds a total of 80 HP (including END bonuses).
- Med-X cannot be crafted, but is a component used to make Psycho.
