Pvt. McKinney[2] (named American soldier in-game) is a United States Army infantryman in the Anchorage Reclamation simulation and is first encountered in the year 2277 inside the simulation.
Background[]
He was a United States Army infantryman and part of the initial assault on the abandoned mining town on the way to the Chinese listening post. As the Lone Wanderer draws near, they can see McKinney lean out from behind a train car, ignoring the warning of a nearby soldier. He is shot in the head and killed by an enemy sniper a moment later.
A trifold flag was presented to the Jamaica Plain time capsule in his memory, where it can be found in the town hall basement.[1]
