“When you need discretion, night time concealment, or just something to match your Power Armor, no other paint can fit so many occasions like the Matte Black paint for the Handmade Rifle.”— Matte black handmade rifle Atomic Shop description
Matte black paint and Matte black Equalizer power armor paint are a pair of related weapon and power armor paint schemes in Fallout 76.
Characteristics[]
The weapon paint is matte black with a lighter, glossier black for the accents. The matte black Equalizer power armor on the other hand is a suit of Equalizer power armor fully painted a scratched up matte black that still retains the original power armors "Betsy Ross" reminiscent flag.[1]
The weapon paint changes the texture of the weapon it is applied to, while the power armor skin completely changes the appearance of any power armor when it's applied.
