The magnetohydraulics complex is a location in Big MT in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues.
Layout[]
Situated east of the Signal Hills transmitter and west of the loading station in the cardinal north side of Big MT, the location interior is almost entirely flooded. There are various items, such as ammunition and meds, in the flooded sections of the complex. Robo-scorpions will spawn outside the door after the holotape inside is picked up.
Notable loot[]
- Sink Project: Sink - Found on the desk in the leftmost corner of the first room on the left upon entering the area.
- 200 energy cells - On the bottom of the underwater section.
- 260 microfusion cells - Floating on the water in the main area.
- Four proton throwing axes - In the rightmost corner of the room, where the water is flowing from, behind a generator with two turbines near it.
- Many drained microfusion cells and drained small energy cells - In the submerged office area.
Appearances[]
The magnetohydraulics complex appears only in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues.
Behind the scenes[]
![]() | The following is based on the Wild Wasteland trait. |
---|
If Wild Wasteland is an active trait, inside the complex will be non-moveable objects called "walking eyes" (on the left, on the roof of the nearby room, and in the room on the desk). They are a reference to The Venture Bros. episode "Fallen Arches," where Dr. Venture uses his prototype walking eye as a lure to attract the attention of supervillains. Dr. Venture is voiced by James Urbaniak, who also voices Doctor 0 in Old World Blues.
