The long covered sniper barrel is a weapon mod in the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World.

When equipped on a handmade rifle, it appears with the "Ported" prefix and an elongated barrel with additional metal parts covering exposed receiver components. The weapon gains significantly increased effective weapon range, moderately increased per-shot recoil, and increased accuracy when aiming down sights at the cost of reduced accuracy when hip-firing.

The long covered welded barrel does not spawn as loot. It can be crafted at a weapons workbench.
It may appear equipped on handmade rifles at higher levels carried by Disciples/Operators/Pack in Nuka-Town USA as well as any parks/outposts they are assigned to during the Nuka-World raider questline.
