Lex is a citizen of Scrapheap in 2161 in the Fallout demo who runs a commune.

Lex runs a commune in Scrapheap and wants to rid the town of the two gangs called the Fools and the Crypts who are fighting over the town's power generator. He looks after the Brahmins used in meat production.

Lex claims to be a true citizen of Scrapheap. He is one of the first characters the Max Stone can talk to after entering the town. He always looks miserable, and he is very subversive against the two gangs - the Fools and the Crypts - when he is talking to Stone. He says the city could stand against the gangs were the citizens more numerable. He starts the quest of dealing with the two gangs, and one can choose to side with either one or eliminate them both in favor of the citizens.
Choosing to side with either of the gangs will make him rebuke Stone. However, freeing the town of the gangs by sabotaging the generator, will make him be thankful towards Stone; though he will ask the player character to repair it.
