Lenny is the friend of a construction worker at the Whitespring Refuge.

Background[]

Upon hearing a construction Protectron mention metric measurement terms such as kilogram, Lenny believed it to be "socialist talk" and advised his friend, the construction worker, that the robot might be a "secret commie spy"[1] or even a "commie kill-bot".[2]

Appearances[]

Lenny is mentioned only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: The Pitt update.

  1. ↑ Vault Dweller: "What kind of "gibberish" was the robot saying?"
Construction worker: "As I'm sure you've noticed we're busy renovating the Whitespring, doing all kinds of construction around here. So this 'bot gets told to screw together some boards using 3/8" fasteners, right? But it starts beepin' and boopin' about 9mm for some reason. We're talking construction, right? So why all of a sudden is this 'bot bringing up ammo for? The foreman tells the 'bot it better smarten up and start pulling its weight around here. Then the bot starts repeating "Kill!", "Kill!", Kill-o'something or other. We all got real worried then!"
Vault Dweller: "[Intelligence+5] Was it saying "kilograms"?"
Construction worker: "Yeah, that was it! Lenny said that's socialist talk and the 'bot might be a secret commie spy or something."
Vault Dweller: "[Intelligence+5] I think I know what's wrong. The robot's internal measurement settings have been calibrated to metric."
Construction worker: "If you say so. Me, I'm just trying to do my job."
