Lead is a crafting component in Fallout 76.

Characteristics[]

An uncommon component used for boosting radiation resistance in armor and apparel. It is primarily used for making ammo at a tinker's workbench.

Locations[]

Gyms (junk)[]

  • Charleston Fire Department has a gym area on the ground floor (14 weights, ~85 lead). Go Straight through the main entrance, through the door, to the right.
  • Eastern Regional Penitentiary (9 weights, ~50 lead): In the center yard, by the building with power armor stations.
  • Green Country Lodge to the north of Flatwoods has a gym area on the ground floor (6 weights, ~35 lead): Ground floor, right behind the lobby.
  • Hornwright Estate (7 weights, ~30 lead): Exit elevator, turn left up stairs, door south of pool table.
  • Monorail elevator has 305 pounds of weights and dumbbells on the third floor, at the end of the train (9 weights, ~45 lead): On the Eastern leg of the Monorail elevator, use the service elevator to reach the third floor, follow the stairs round and go towards the train, the weights are on the floor.
  • Orwell Orchards bomb shelter (5 weights, ~25 lead): Immediately down the stairs and to the left after entering the interior.
  • Palace of the Winding Path (6 weights, ~30 lead): Coming in from the north-side entrance, head up the stairs and look to the left for a set of double doors. Go through the doors, and follow the long hallway south until reaching some green lockers on each side of a set of stairs heading down.
  • Site Alpha, Site Bravo, and Site Charlie have a gym, though security will be alerted and activated until a biometric ID has been created. Entrance to these locations does not require a biometric ID. To get there, pass through the entrance area, through the corridor leading to the biometric machine and across into the living quarters.
  • The Sludge Works (7 weights, ~50 lead): West side, by a tinker's workbench.
  • Vault-Tec University has two gyms, one located near the start of the building (6 weights, ~25 lead) and one in the simulation vault (5 weights, ~25 lead): From the main entrance, take one right, door on the left at the end of the hall: In the simulation vault, go to the main floor, it's by the exercise bikes and dining tables.
