Last confession is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground.

Location[]

The note can be found at the flooded city center of Atlantic City, inside the church near the community center. The note is directly north of the podium altar, on the ground next to a segment of railing.

How can I be absolved if there is no priest to stand before me? How can I seek forgiveness in a world that no longer cares if I am guilty or innocent? I don't wish for forgiveness from a deity, from a person, or from anything corporeal. I wish I could forgive myself, but that's impossible.

I look at what the Blood has done to my body, and I feel nothing at all. No anger, no sadness, simply an empty resignation. This city was like clay to me. I could've shaped it any way I wanted. Instead, I cut off my own hands.

All those miles traveled, all those lives wasted...just for the empire to fall. Sometimes, you can do everything right, and the world still falls apart around you anyway. Irregardless,In-game spelling, punctuation and/or grammar it's not like I had all the time in the world left. If the Blood hadn't killed me, time would've taken me.

If Tony's reading this...please, do the right thing. Do it for me.

Notes[]

The note may appear to be floating slightly above the ground of the main church stage.
