But with people as desperate as they are, it's meant everyone with a functioning radio's come back to try to see if they can get a piece of it.— Lacey about the treasure

Lacey Drummond is a woman exploring the wasteland in Appalachia.

Background[]

Curious explorers from the ruins of Virginia, Lacey and Isela Mejia have set themselves up outside of Vault 76, seeking answers for the questions that brought them to Appalachia in the first place. They heard news on a broadcast about a buried treasure, but the details of it were vague. Prior to their arrival, in exchange for a lead about the treasure, the two were apparently scammed out of the last of their caps by a man at the Wayward who she recalls being named "Carter". Lacey and Isela have not been in Appalachia for long, but noticed the area was hit hard; despite this, she mentions Appalachia is still better than their previous travels.

Notes[]

  • With the Expeditions: Atlantic City update, Lacey and Isela have been moved closer to the Vault 76 entrance, as opposed to further down the stairs, where they are currently.
  • If the player character lies to Lacey, saying that Vault 76 is the site of a treasure, Isela mutters "ay, pendeja" ("idiot") in Spanish under her breath before speaking to Lacey once more.

Appearances[]

Lacey appears only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.

Behind the scenes[]

Lacey is voiced by Mara Junot, who also voiced Meg Groberg and Elsie Taylor. In localized versions of the game, her voice is dubbed by Chieko Miyazaki (Japanese) and Nieves "Nikki" García (Spanish). Lacey's English and Japanese voice actresses share the same roles, but this is not the case for the Spanish dub.
