Kris Takahashi is a developer and modder who created several pieces of Creation Club content. Takahashi was later credited on Fallout 76 as an additional monetization designer, first listed in the updated credits with Night of the Moth. Takahashi was also credited on Fallout 4 with its next-gen update in 2024.
Career[]
Takahashi got his start modding The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with his first release being "Interesting NPCs" that gained 4 million downloads. Takahashi would release a mod for every Bethesda-published game, starting with "Hope Lies - A FNV Companion" for Fallout: New Vegas, "3D NPC Fallout Bundle" for Fallout 3 and "Tales from the Commonwealth" for Fallout 4.
Work on the Fallout series[]
After the release of "Tales from the Commonwealth," Takahashi would contribute several items to the Creation Club program from 2017 to 2019.
Takahashi was later hired full-time at Bethesda and worked on lite allies as part of the monetization team on Fallout 76 in 2021, including the ally Sam Nguyen.[1][2]
In April 2024, two of his Creation Club quests, Crucible and Speak of the Devil, were integrated into Fallout 4 for free as part of its next-gen update. He was also added to the in-game credits under Creation Club's Design section.
