Kedrick is a cut Brotherhood of Steel character meant to appear in Fallout.

Background[]

Kedrick is commonly considered to be a loyal member of the Brotherhood, to the point of being a model to outsiders or new recruits. However, as trusted as he is considered to be, in reality he is a traitor to the Brotherhood, conspiring with the Unity to assassinate the elders[1] and allow the super mutants to take Lost Hills. His impeccable reputation makes it impossible to bring charges against him without concrete evidence, as any claims going against his honor will be dismissed as hearsay.[2]

However, should said proof be obtained, the backing of another ranking member of the Brotherhood should suffice to stamp out the corruption,[3] and Kedrick would be removed by the High Elder and Rhombus.[4][5]

Interactions[]

Kedrick was going to appeal at Lost Hills and finding out about his plans to assassinate the elders and ensure its fall to the mutant armies was necessary to secure a positive ending for the Brotherhood. This would be achieved by finding the proof and talking to Vree, who would then present the findings together with the player character to John Maxson. Judging by the fact that Lost Hills was still referred to as the Citadel in the ending, this was cut very early on.[6]

Appearances[]

Kedrick was to appear only in Fallout before being cut.
