Brahmin upgrades[]
Josie offers a number of upgrades for the brahmin that appears in Caravan: Skyline Drive, via changing their diet. Tier 1 is available by default after unlocking her (hire cost: 100 Supplies), while Tier 2 is unlocked from upgrading Josie in conversation with Marley. Tier 3 is unlocked at no cost via dialogue with Josie after she is upgraded to Tier 2; reach the option to offer her either Addictol or Calmex and she will be upgraded to Tier 3 after the conversation ends.
The effects are permanent and stack with each other; they will apply to caravans run by the player (not other caravans that one participates in).
Tier 1 (default)[]
- Wasteland Hay: Improves health, costs 25 Supplies.
- Rad-free Alfalfa: Improves health, costs 70 Supplies.
- Cattle Encourager: Increases speed, costs 100 Supplies.
Tier 2 (200 Supplies)[]
- Thorn Feed: Reflects damage, costs 100 Supplies.
- Irradiated Corn: Improves health, costs 150 Supplies.
- Cattle Inspirer: Improves hurrying speed, costs 250 Supplies.

Josie has a dialogue option to name the brahmin that appears in Caravan: Skyline Drive. After selecting it, a menu will appear, on which the player can assign a prefix and suffix (e.g. "Old" and "Buttercup" to name the brahmin "Old Buttercup") to give the brahmin a two-word name.
