Jide is a former contractor helping build and maintain the Wayward in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
Background[]
Jide spends his time outside of the Wayward, making repairs and maintaining the building. Upon the Vault dwellers' first time visiting the bar during Wayward Souls, he will direct them inside to get a drink. He will also point out the ammunition and medical supplies vending machines outside the Wayward. Mort mentions that Jide used to work as a contractor.
From time to time, Jide will check if Bessie's combat systems are still offline.[1]
Jide will attack the player if they attack any of his brahmin.
