Jacklyn is a woman found near Nipton in 2281.
Background
She can be found in a gunfight with Tomas between Nipton and the Nipton Road Pit Stop. If she wins the gunfight against Tomas, she can be found running towards the Courier on the road to the Nipton Road Pit Stop or standing on the road just outside Nipton.

Quests
- The Star Showdown: If she survives, she tells the Courier that Tomas was insane and wanted some sort of stars. If the Courier mentions that Tomas was looking for Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps, once the dialogue ends, she will say she needs time to compose herself and remain friendly. However, this friendliness is a ruse and she shoots the Courier in the back. If one has at least 7 Intelligence, they can see through this and gain 25 XP.
- If Tomas's journal is looted from his body, one can start the dialogue with her again. During the second dialogue, Terrifying Presence can be used to demand her to hand over all star caps without opening fire; otherwise, she will turn hostile.

Notes
- If she survives the fight with Tomas and the confrontation with the Courier, Jacklyn will try to reach the Mojave Outpost. Once there, she will disappear from the game, despawning on I-15 near the gates.
- Jacklyn will only appear once the Courier has picked up at least one Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap.
