Ivanpah Dry Lake is a location in the Mojave Wasteland. Located to the south of Primm and to the east of the Nevada Highway Patrol station.
Layout
A blank desert landscape, its main feature is a small hill in the center with a harvestable honey mesquite pod and a burned-out car, with a suitcase in the back seat. The Courier can also find a stash toolbox next to the car.
Bark scorpions can also be found in the general vicinity, along with some barrel cactus and jalapeño pepper plants. There are also a number of giant ants patrolling the area.
Notes
The icon used for the location's map marker suggests an active settlement instead of a natural landmark.
Appearances
Ivanpah Dry Lake appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
Behind the scenes
The real Ivanpah Lake is a dried up lake just outside of Primm, Nevada where a mining company dumped radioactive waste during the 1980s.
