Ivanpah Dry Lake is a location in the Mojave Wasteland. Located to the south of Primm and to the east of the Nevada Highway Patrol station.

Layout

A blank desert landscape, its main feature is a small hill in the center with a harvestable honey mesquite pod and a burned-out car, with a suitcase in the back seat. The Courier can also find a stash toolbox behind the car, half buried in sand.

Bark scorpions can also be found in the general vicinity, along with some barrel cactus and jalapeño pepper plants. There are also a number of giant ants patrolling the area.

Appearances

Ivanpah Dry Lake appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

Behind the scenes

The real Ivanpah Lake is a dried up lake just outside of Primm, Nevada where a mining company dumped radioactive waste during the 1980s.
