I told you, Lacey. That guy was scamming us.

Isela Mejia is a woman exploring the wasteland in Appalachia.

Curious explorers from the ruins of Virginia, Isela and Lacey have set themselves up outside of Vault 76, seeking answers for the questions that brought them to Appalachia in the first place. They heard news on a broadcast about a buried treasure, but the details of it were vague. Prior to their arrival, in exchange for a lead about the treasure, the two were apparently scammed out of the last of their caps by a man at the Wayward, who Lacey recalls being named "Carter". Isela and Lacey have not been in Appalachia for long, but noticed the area was hit hard; despite this, she mentions Appalachia is still better than their previous travels.

  • With the Expeditions: Atlantic City update, Isela and Lacey have been moved closer to the Vault 76 entrance, as opposed to further down the stairs, where they are currently.
  • If the player lies to Lacey, saying that Vault 76 is the site of a treasure, Isela mutters "ay, pendeja" ("idiot") in Spanish under her breath before speaking to Lacey.

Isela Mejia appears only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
