Channel your chi to unleash devastating fury! If you're the pugilistic sort and favor unarmed weaponry to inflict pain and suffering to an ever-more impressive degree, this is the perk for you! Let's not dwell on the slight shortfall of the difficulty in fighting multiple opponents at once; this focuses all your muscle on one hapless fall. Consult the Weapons chapter for the variety of punching weapons available.Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide description

Iron Fist is a Strength perk in Fallout 4.

Effects[]

Taking this perk grants bonus damage when using Unarmed attacks, with each rank providing as much damage as 2 points of Strength, with additional benefits at higher ranks - they grant the chance to disarm an opponent and/or cripple their limbs per hit and the ability to paralyze an enemy when using a Critical Hit in VATS. The most powerful ranks of this perk are 2, 3, and 5, because 1 is just the damage every rank provides, and rank 4 offers half the power-up that 3 does. However, for most playstyles, ranks 3-4 and rank 5 provide benefits that can't be combined with each other, as the player can't Power Attack in VATS.
