The Institute division head coat provides no Damage Resistance, but adds a bonus of 1 to Intelligence and 1 to Perception. It comes in five distinct variations according to which department the scientist who is wearing it is assigned to: black for Synth Retention Bureau, blue for Advanced Systems, green for BioScience, yellow in Engineering, and orange is the color for personnel unassigned to a department/Robotics.
The variant for each department head has prominent colors displayed across the front resembling a toga.
Worn by various division heads, and can be pick pocketed for the coats.
The black variant is worn by Justin Ayo, or Alana Secord if Ayo has been banished. It is simply named "Institute Division Head Coat", and can also be bought from the Synth requisition officer.
The orange variant can be found next to Father's lab coat in his office after the completion of Nuclear Family and informing Allie Filmore of Father's death.
