InstaMash is a food item found in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
InstaMash is packaged in a white box with blue highlights. It appears to be a form of instant potatoes.
Eating this foodstuff restores 5 Hit Points, but also gives out a small dose of radiation in return. In Hardcore mode it will also eliminate 25 points from Starvation.
It is a required ingredient for making a caravan lunch.

- Two can be found in the kitchen of the Atomic Wrangler, behind a Hard locked door.
- Two can be found on shelves in the ruined store in Freeside.
- Several can be found in the Ultra-Luxe kitchen.
- One can be stolen on a shelf in Cannibal Johnson's cave.
- Two can be stolen in the most northwestern Nelson house.
- Two are inside the Nipton house that has traps and sandbags around the door.

InstaMash heals half as much as a stimpak with a high Survival skill.
