Imposter! is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part one, Boardwalk Paradise.

The note can be found at Showman's Pier, inside Zayde's dressing room in the southern repurposed bathroom, in the connecting hallway between the stage area and the arcade. The note itself is on a side table near some towels; the same table has the note Not enough underneath it.

Everyone knows. Their watchful eyes, their spiteful smiles... Why else would they look at me like that?
It's a game they're playing. Waiting for me to crack. Then they can all laugh together, all the Showmen, drown the protege before he can drag them down! He's a fraud! ME! I'm a fraud, a sham, a charlatan! It will never last... I'll be cooked on a spit! Skewered by their pointed fingers!
Is it wrong to cling to life? Is it not the truest instinct of man? What does it mean that all sound disappears at night and I bolt awake, scratching at my jugular, desperate to confirm that my heart still beats?
I must hide my ruse and survive. Smile, nod, fool them all. Flip the script! Now truth is doubt.
My charade has become my reality.
