Implant Y-3 is a special perk in Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues. It can be obtained by purchasing it from the Auto-Doc in The Sink for 12,000 caps.
Effects
Removes any radiation taken from drinking an irradiated water source. Unfortunately it has no effect on drinking from faucets, toilets and urinals, only drinks that are consumed from the inventory.
Note
This perk take your Radiation Resist to calculate, it's core formula is: (1 - (Player.GetActorValue RadResist / 100))
If the Player has high enough Radiation Resistance it will cause this perk to become useless.

- RadResist 70%, drinking "Dirty Water" (Rad+1) ==>> Radiation +1
- RadResist 69%, drinking "Dirty Water" (Rad+1) ==>> no Radiation
- RadResist 15%, drinking "Dirty Water" (Rad+5) ==>> no Radiation
Behind the scenes
- All implant perks of Old World Blues use this image and they are the only characteristics in the SPECIAL that have no Vault Boy or Vault Girl but only a vault boyish item.
- The image for this perk is the same image of the icon for the RobCo processor widget, a quest item in Fallout 3.
