Imitation strange meat pie can be crafted by the player a single time at the oven nearest the kitchen pantry during the quest Beyond the Beef with an Intelligence check of 6 and Philippe's recipes, which can be either pickpocked from Philippe or purchased for 100 caps (Or for free with high enough [75] speech) by posing as a publishing agent. Alternately, a Survival check of 75 can bypass the recipe. If the player follows the quest line to serve imitation meat at the banquet, many more pies will be found in the Members Only section of the Ultra-Luxe once the Head waiter has delivered the original.
