Illness is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Burning Springs update.
Location[]
The note can be found at the exterior of Highway Town, on the ground level, near the farms where Pop is found. The note is inside a trailer, next to a ham radio.

I've been seeing more and more people falling ill lately. It starts with a cough that grows heavier with time, your mouth starts to dry up, and then the thirst hits. A thirst that's sent some people crazy. I saw one man kill another, all because he took too long filling his canteen.
