The hunter is a deceased man in the Commonwealth in 2287.
Background[]
The hunter was the son of the stag hunter. They set out one day to hunt the legendary Quantum radstag. While the stag hunter was killed by mirelurks, the hunter continued to chase the stag. However, he stopped at his camp and encouraged anyone who found his note to let the stag go and not kill it, shortly before being killed by a swarm of bloodbugs.
